The SPP 2130 actively supports diversity, equal opportunity, the compatibility of work and family and the qualification of junior researchers. Funds are accordingly available for child care during SPP events, for setting up home offices for persons raising children or caring for relatives, for the organisation of projects and workshops on gender and diversity, and for measures for promoting women scholars in their careers. The members of the SPP can apply for these funds from the SPP office.
Start-up financing is also available for three junior researchers (4–6 months) wishing to submit a project application for the second funding phase of the SPP. The call for applications will be made public at the end of 2019.
